All our covers are supplied where possible with a deep valance and eyelets around the base, with a base draw ord and/or webbing and buckle ties - depending on the dinghy in question. All covers are supplied in blue, but other colours are available upon request - possibly at an additional cost.

There are three main types of cover - many covers are made to standard patterns, these are generally available ex stock. Most covers produced today are for fibreglass dinghies made from a heavy weight reinforced PVC.

The less common dinghy covers - can be produced to your specific requirements or if patterns are not available a measuring chart can be provided. For traditional wooden dinghies or dinghies with wooden decks or similar it is not recommended to use a PVC cover but to have a breathable cover from either a Polyester Cotton material or an Acrylic material, both of which protect the varnish work better from the elements of frost, where these materials are more breathable than PVC

Flat Covers

A simple cover made to completely cover the top of the boat, with no mast or shroud cuts outs, but down the hull to where required.

Over Boom Cover

This is a cover that is made to cover the complete dinghy with the mast up, the boom in the gooseneck, giving a maximum water run off, with cut outs for the shrouds, mast, forestay etc.

Flat with Mast Up Covers

As described a flat cover with cut out for the mast, shrouds etc. Sometimes supplied with a tab, for the main halyard to be used to hold the cover up as much as possible so as water does not lie in the centre.
